PARSIPPANY, NJ, September 5, 2002 - ERA Franchise Systems LLC announced today the appointment of Jason Carrier to director of mortgage development, reporting to Vice President of Service Support, Scott Becker.

In this position, Carrier will serve as a communication liaison between ERA Franchise Systems LLC and ERA Mortgage. He will work closely with ERA® brokers to assist them in optimizing the value of ERA Mortgage's customizable programs. Additionally, he will assist the brand's field support staff in its efforts to establish successful mortgage relationships with the ERA network and consumers.

"We are pleased to have Jason join the ERA team," said Becker. "With Jason's extensive sales and service background, I am confident he will be a valuable asset to the ERA network."

Prior to his appointment, Carrier served as sales manager for Positive Impact LLC in Lyndhurst, NJ. In this role, he was responsible for developing and executing marketing plans for professional athletic teams.

Carrier is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in communications studies.
