ERA® REAL ESTATE SPONSORS CBS SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Parsippany, NJ (May 4, 1998) – ERA Real Estate recently announced that it has signed a television sponsorship package with CBS Sports. The agreement makes ERA Real Estate the 1998 title sponsor of a series of sporting events including professional and collegiate gymnastics, track and field, tennis, baseball and NASCAR events. The series will be called the ERA Real Estate Championship Series.

The ERA Real Estate Championship Series consists of the following events: The Penn Relays (April 25), The U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships (April 26), The NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships (May 3), The Women's Professional Gymnastics Championships (May 16-17), The World Professional Gymnastics Championship (May 9-10), The NCAA College World Series (May 30 and June 6), the Nike Prefontaine (track and field on May 31), the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships (June 7), and the NASCAR 50th Anniversary Concert in July*.

As the title sponsor of these televised events ERA receives a varied number of commercial spots for each broadcast, as well as event signage and other site-based promotion. The Series also provides an opportunity for ERA Real Estate to interact with consumers one-on-one at the events. Local ERA offices are also participating in the ERA Real Estate Championship Series by creating incentive programs and promotions to merchandise the events with their local offices and employees.

In Orlando, the site of the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships, local ERA offices created an incentive-based promotion for brokers and agents to receive tickets to the event. In New England at the Women's Professional Gymnastics Championship, ERA brokers and sales associates merchandised their local services directly to the event attendees through an on-site booth and drawing for event memorabilia. Similar promotions are being implemented around the country in conjunction with the Series.

The following is a synopsis of the events that comprise the ERA Real Estate Championship Series:
