ERA® REAL ESTATE NAMES MARTIN-SMITH NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF SERVICE SUPPORT Parsippany, NJ (July 19, 1999) – ERA Franchise Systems LLC announced today the appointment of Patricia J. Martin-Smith as Vice President of Service Support. Reporting to Senior Vice President Brenda Casserly, Martin-Smith will assume responsibility for the development, integration and implementation of service systems and internal finance. In this capacity, she will oversee the management and staff of the Quality Commitment Group and ERA Preferred Alliances. Martin-Smith most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for Burgdorff Realtors ERA where she directed company-wide marketing efforts and was instrumental in designing the company's new corporate identity. Martin-Smith began her career in the real estate industry at Hearthstone, Inc. Realtors in 1984, where she served for 10 years, in increasingly responsible positions including Marketing Manager and Vice President. "We are delighted to have PJ join the ERA team," said Casserly. Martin-Smith is an active member of the New Jersey Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors and served on the Board of Directors for the Pascack Valley Board of Realtors from 1992 through 1996. She received an MBA from Pace University and is a graduate of Ramapo College.
