The ERA Answers Line was formed in August 1996 to help answer questions from
the membership regarding the transition of departments from Kansas City
Headquarters to Parsippany, New Jersey. The department is now known as the
Customer Service Team with our major focus on total customer service. The
team assists nearly 1,050 inbound callers per month. The Customer Service
Team Managers proactively contacted our members an average of 8 to 9 times
during the year.
The Customer Service team serves as a proactive communications vehicle by
making monthly outbound calls to offices to increase the awareness of new
products, services or events. They are able to assist brokers and sales
associates in any unresolved challenges with any departments in ERA.
